Her places are the ones we remember that leave traces like a paintbrush leaves paint on watercolour paper. Brooches with paper, not enamel, fragile paper stamped and protected in silver white. Green and white, like snow-covered spruce trees, even though the brooches come from Portugal. Today they are lighting the Christmas tree in Vilnius, and in Belmont all the trees probably already look like Christmas trees, green and white. The spikes are imprinted on the memory.
